I am a senior at Iowa State University studying Journalism and Mass Communication with a minor in Design. I have a passion for television broadcasting, and am looking to pursue a career as a photographer or multimedia journalist. I have hands-on experience from KCCI Channel 8 News in Des Moines and a student-run TV station at Iowa State University called ISUtv. I'm currently interning at Crooked Trails, a non-profit based in Seattle.
This package is about two (almost) 200 year-old trees on the Iowa State campus that are going to get cut down in order to make room for a new residence hall. The video is about a petition that was started to save the trees and is supplemented with interviews from students in the landscape architecture department who think saving the trees is possible.
This video is an informational film about human trafficking to raise awareness.
This video is about an artist who visited Des Moines, IA to showcase his piece called "The Heeling Process."
