My drive to produce work around the continent comes from frustration (and passion) to see more African product out there. My career is focused on international filmmaking with a preference on stories around African origins/heritage. As a filmmaker, my experience in Los Angeles, Nairobi and Kampala ranges from creative development and functional writers rooms to directing shorts, television shows and commercials down to what I enjoy most, which is producing original media content for television. I am currently based in Kampala, Uganda as a Freelancer.
Co- wrote, directed and produced locations for the second season of the Fasi Fasi Talk show under Mango Tree Uganda that focuses on building the conversation around gender politics in several locations around the country funded by UN Women
-Direct and oversee 7 short films and 2 seasons of a local sitcom - Follow up and oversee editing and release.
• Producer of 20 min. short film, "LIGHTS OUT" directed by Isaac Oboth chronicling the life of a Ugandan entrepreneur who went on to join the list of the Forbes 30 under 30 for Mastercard Foundation.
Trained 8 NGO’s on story structure and screenwriting to create stories that would culminate in two shorts for DW Academy. - Wrote the two featured shorts.
