About Ernie

Activist, storyteller, and public servant. With 15 years of experience in professional film and video work, I've dedicated my career to understanding narrative fiction as truth, non-fiction film as cinematic fact, and journalism as a blend of the two. The tools of making this content change all the time and I look at keeping up with these progressions as a pre-requisite while keeping the story at the center. I've worked as a producer for live events, field work, documentaries, narrative projects as well as spend time in the editing room, behind the camera, and in the classroom as a art & storytelling educator. I'm always looking for new challenges whether it means being a one person crew or managing a large number of professionals.

For over 125 years Carhartt has been a champion for workers. As so many apparel brands look to move their manufacturing for the sake of their margins, Carhartt has remained committed to its own workers and the communities it has impacted while protecting the value of its product for the benefit of its customers. There is no greater example of this than the people of Irvine Kentucky, which Carhartt has been a primary employer for generations.
