I am an award-winning photojournalist with more than a decade of experience, covering a wide variety of subjects - from the Presidential campaign trail, Ireland's economic boom, the Intifada in the West Bank, to the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. I previously worked for the Economist Newspaper Group, and was also a senior staff photographer for Gannett's Military Times. Freelance clients have include a variety of news organizations, such as The New York Times, U.S. News and World Report, the Boston Globe, Der Spiegel, Scotland on Sunday, Agence France-Presse, and the European Pressphoto Agency. In terms of documentary-work, much of my experience has been military and conflict related. Basically, though, I'm interested in character-driven narratives, where the subject narrates their own story - the classic "day-in-the-life." I'm also interested in short features, such as travel and food pieces.
