Based in Hong Kong, I currently cover stories across Asia with a focus on China. I am a video journalist (writer, videographer, audio, infographics and presenter) with over 20 years experience working with established international media. I have covered breaking news, features, travel and sport for TV, Radio, print and online but have a particular passion for people, travel and environmental stories. In 2020 my production Battleground PolyU was nominated for a Webby and won World Press Photo Interactive of the Year.

Tensions in the ongoing protests in Hong Kong reached its peak in the middle of November 2019 after a protester was shot by a traffic policeman. Students occupied university campuses across the city and blocked key highways. After a fierce battle at the Chinese University, attention turned to the blockade at Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) where students had closed off the Cross Harbour Tunnel leading to it. This immersive 360 video takes you through five days in and around PolyU.
