Macarena Gagliardi is a highly experienced TV and documentary producer based in Buenos Aires. She also is a multifaceted journalist and translator. As a former BBC producer, she is used to cover stories all over South America. Looking for new challenges, in 2009 she founded her own company, Fixer Argentina, dedicated to quality production services for international broadcasters, production houses and filmmakers. Since then, Macarena and her partner Gert De Saedeleer have produced content for renown broadcasters and outlets as BBC, NBC, ESPN, Channel 5 UK, BNNVARA Netherlands, Amazon, TV 5 Canadá, WarnerBros, Google, Youtube, GQ, Billboard Magazine, NPR, PRI, Univision. In 2020, we produced the short documentary Normality might never be the same - which portrays the work of a newspaper seller, a simple story that shows how the pandemic has impacted on human relations. The film received the second mention of the Photo and Video Contest “Images of a new time” by Fundación Bunge Born 2022, Argentina. Colleagues have always highlighted her great communication and human skills as a team leader, as well as her commitment and creativity. Macarena got the Motion Picture Association grant to participate at the American Film Market as well as a series of seminars by Latin American Training Centre in Los Angeles, USA, 2022.
