We follow the lives of three divers, who depend on the Yamuna for their survival. The brothers take turns to dive into the foam-covered waters of the Yamuna river, in an attempt to find coins that people throw from the bridge for 'mannat'. Video and editing by Shivam Khanna. The report explores the lives of 3 divers, Mohammad Zakir, Laal Mann and Mohammad Rashid who spend their day in a tent based on the bank of Chath Ghat, ITO. Their only source of earning is the Yamuna. The brothers take turns and go into the deep waters of the foam-covered Yamuna to find coins that people throw from the bridge for 'mannat'. Zakir claims they earn up to 200-250 per day from this practice. That's 7,750 in a month and Zakir has a family of five. That figure is valid when the income is constant, alas that is not very likely.
