Turan Gafarli is an expert on post-Soviet regions and the Turkic world (including energy, politics, society and etc.). He is the editor of the book "Karabakh Gambit: The Responsibility for the Future" (2021). Graduated from the Queen Mary University of London with joint honours in History and Politics, and became a Master of Arts in Transnational Studies at University College London (UCL). In 2017, he was Lord German's research assistant in the House of Lords for a while. He also did internships at the United Nations and the Council of Europe.
