Alessandro Falco, 1986, is a documentary photographer whose visual research is actually focusing on the representation of environmental and social issues affecting the Amazon rainforest. Since 2014, Falco has been mentored by the acclaimed war photographer Fabio Bucciarelli, starting the documentation of humanitarian issues such as the refugee crisis in Europe and the hunger in Venezuela. His photographs have been published by international media including The New York Times, National Geographic, Spiegel, Zeit, CNN, GQ, Newsweek Japan, Al Jazeera, Bloomberg, Vice News, The Intercept, Liberation, Monocle, L’Espresso, Il Reportage and Sport Week. Falco lives in Belem do Pará, the gateway to the Amazon river.
