A pioneer in the DIY filmmaking movement, Boonsri has been profiled by several prominent media publications, most recently in TechCrunch and Scientific American, for her innovative use of digital technologies. As a journalist, Boonsri has written and produced thought-provoking features on issues such as genetics, medicine, astronomy, consumer technology, startups, privacy, and the BYOD trend. She has written for Discover Magazine, Thomson Reuters Venture Capital Journal, Wired, Forbes, CNET, Business Insider, CBS interactives SmartPlanet and BYTE. She holds a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she studied particular collision and complex systems in the pharmaceutical industry.
