Phillip Lennon is one of South Africa’s most experienced documentary producers. What makes him unique is that he works alone. One would think that working solo would impact on the quality of ones work. Not in this case. Winner of the 2009 “Media feather” award for best insert on a magazine program for his insert “A cave called chaos”. Winner of the 2011 and 2012 SAB Environmentalist of the Year merit award in the broadcast category. Official selection Philadelphia Film Festival 2012 “A Planet Weeps” a documentary on the 2010 Pakistan floods. Winner 2014 ATKV Media Veertjie for best news and actuality insert. Winner 2014 SAFTA Award National Geographic Taboo Africa, Creative Director, Produced by Clive Morris Productions. His work has been broadcast on every major channel in South Africa, a variety of central and Eastern European channels as well as Nat Geo Africa. He has conducted interviews across the spectrum, from Govt officials to the man on the street.
