I am an Emmy Award-winning director of photography, editor and producer based in Brooklyn, NY, who strives to tell immersive stories that build understanding and connection. While attending the University of North Carolina, I developed a foundation in visual storytelling through photojournalism and making documentary films. My work is inspired by cinema verité. I was formerly a staff video journalist at the Los Angeles Times and have moved on to freelance projects for film and television. I have been recognized by the Hearst Journalism Awards and the Los Angeles Press Club. My most recent work has been featured by HBO Max, PBS NewsHour, CuriosityStream and NOVA.
