I am Priyanka Singh.I have worked as senior copy editor with Down to Earth, an environmental watch magazine in Delhi. Currently, I am freelancing for Responding to climate change, The Sunday Guardian and The Harmony. I am also working on some documentaries. I am an independent filmmaker and have just finished my first short film. I hold a post-graduate diploma in print journalism from MASCOM (Manorama School of Communication) in Kottayam, Kerala. Earlier, I was associated with The Times of India, Delhi for two years. During my stint with TOI, I have contributed articles for Delhi and NCR editions. I have written stories on Indian, world cinema, fashion and lifestyle. I am a self-starter and a professional with more than five years of work experience. My previous employers included The Pioneer, Delhi and DNA, Jaipur and The Telegraph.

This feature length documentary is the first of its kind, telling the life story of P. R. Sarkar from an unbiased yet sympathetic point of view. P. R. Sarkar, also known as Baba, was 69 when he died. But his story stretches past the boundaries of his lifetime and spreads across continents to the many people who see him as their leader, a father figure and social game changer.

I might have passed this over as a routine risk that women in Delhi live with. But now I think the story should be told, especially after Nirbhaya's friend has revealed that none of the 50-odd auto-rickshaws at the Saket malls agreed to take Nirbhaya and him to their destination. If one of them had, they wouldn't have taken that deadly bus and Nirbhaya might have been alive.

Serin Catherine, 24, who wrote the lyrics of two songs for Rupesh Paul's 'Saint Dracula', is all smiles. The songs 'I Be Here' and 'I Have Secrets' written by her and composed by Sreevalson J Menon have made it to the list of 75 songs chosen for nominations in the original song category for the 85th Academy Awards 2012.
