I am an award-winning documentary filmmaker based in London. Specialising in character-driven films that explore the human condition, I blend a unique narrative style with rich visual imagery. My feature-length and short documentaries have won acclaim at international festivals and screenings, including showcases at the United Nations. In parallel to my character-led narratives, I have also founded Documental Films, through which I bring global issues and academic research to a wide audience, contributing to public debates and political policy. Before stepping behind the camera, I owned and operated an art-house cinema in the Colorado where I shared my love for independent cinema with my mountain community. My films include: Scent of Strawberries, 10:4, Wooden Butterflies, Carrying the Light, and most recently, The King of Nerac (now in the festival circuit).

Launched in July 2012 in India, the Samata programme aims to reduce HIV risk among adolescent girls in Bijapur and Bagalkot Districts by increasing their rates of secondary school enrolment and completion. This short film explores the context and challenges during the initial stages of the Samata programme.

Behind a small fruit garden in North London, two men handcraft guitars. Haim and David are modern-day luthiers, fashioning 'organic' stringed instruments from recycled wood.
