I started my career in a commercial recording studio and I took that attention to detail when transitioning to Production Sound Mixer. I take care with both the subjects/talents and the audio itself. When I started in Production Sound Mixing, I have realized that I work best as part of a team contributing more than just what is asked while staying a step ahead to help create incredible productions.
I worked with Madison, WI local DP Eric Janisch to record the off-site interview and b-roll portion of this segment. I recorded the audio and helped Eric setup and tear down. This segment for Good Morning America was the second one Eric and I did together.
I recorded the audio for the interviews and helped the small crew with setup and transport of gear. Working with these small crews really make me value a great work ethic shared with the team.
I work a lot in reality television. This specific episode took place in my state but I often travel with this production. The team aspect really show through in small crew productions. I really enjoy being part of the team that has made history.
