About
Joe Hill is a journalist, photographer, and media producer. He is currently an Associate Producer for Vice News Tonight on HBO. Joe began his professional career as the founder and Executive Director of The Unexpected Laboratory, a creative production company that confronted current affairs with multimedia storytelling. Now called Round Room Image, his company focuses on international nonfiction media production. He just returned from shooting a feature film in Venezuela and from working for the Witness Program of Al Jazeera Network in Doha, Qatar. He has filmed educational videos with the Deaf community in Ethiopia, photographed political rallies in Pakistan, and has advanced Spanish language skills from his time in Cuba and Chile. He is a recent graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, where he created his own degree program called Image Production and Representational Studies. He is also a graduate of the Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan.

Three brothers, one gay, one straight, and the third is our new sister
Javi Gonzalez, a spoken word performer has been working on a a live performance about his brothers. Javi is gay, his brother is a trans woman and his youngest brother is straight but grew up being exposed to his brothers with unique gender and sexual identities. Javi just came to perform a full rap musical in Ars Nova and to present his show to his old elementary school.
