I studied Broadcast & Digital Journalism, International Relations and Political Science at Syracuse University. I have worked as a Social Media Community Manager at Univision. I enjoy working creating and monitoring content for social media platforms 24/7. I am also interested in international reporting, especially reporting about Latin America. Most of my stories have been about Latino, Muslim, and other minority communities. I was the first student in Newhouse to get a story to CNN Newsource. My story "Trump policies motivate CNY women to fight for their safety" was aired by more than 13 national stations.
Some Muslim women in Syracuse think this is the right moment to take self-defense classes. They want to learn how to protect themselves from the increasing xenophobia and Islamophobia around the United States.
