About

Louis Quek is a Singapore-based sound designer/music producer specialising in creating and producing sound design and music for projects ranging from visual animations to commercial ads, films, and experiential art installations. He always striving to look out for fresh new ideas and concepts as well as incorporating his knowledge on art and music. In his years of experience, He has worked with clients and agencies to conceptualise and create an ideal audio environment to accompany and enhance the audience experience. His contributions to film, theatre and art installations include Toy Factory Productions Ltd, National Arts Council, Noise Singapore, Singapore Inside Out: Tokyo 2017, iLight Marina Bay 2018, Singapore International Festival of the Arts 2018/2019 and Singapore Art Week 2020/2021/2022. He is the co-founder of CTRL UNIT, a creative studio that focuses on installations and audiovisual experiences. He is also an adjunct lecturer at Lasalle College of the Arts.
