Nora Jaccaud is a young media-maker guided by a passion for fearless and unconventional visual and performance art. After getting her masters in dramaturgy at Sorbonne in Paris, she worked in curation and art directing in contemporary art and cinema in France, French West Africa, China, UK and most recently the U.S. She co-directed a short film selected at cinefondation in Cannes 2013 and has worked with such luminary filmmakers as Weerasethakul Apichatpong, Guy Maddin and Eugene Jarecki. Fluent in French, Polish, Chinese, Spanish and English, her multi-cultural inclinations and skills make her a natural connector among people from a wide range of backgrounds and perspectives. She loves to be challenged and to solve complex problems through grace, mindfulness, and joyful collaboration. After directing her first documentary in London THE BASE and just now PIECE DETACHEES for the Biennale du design in Saint Etienne, she is now producing and directing the video project HUMAN POSTCARDS.

NEW ZEALAND - The Catlins Beverley is an artist, although she might not admit it herself. She lives on a farm in The Catlins where she creates pictures with coloured wool, shorn from her own sheep. The base captured life inside the hidden world of London's mysterious and mercurial rickshaw riders. Cloistered in a tunnel beneath London's bustling business district, “the base,” as it is called, is both where London's exploding fleet of rickshaws are stored and repaired and also a kind of refuge/gathering point for a virtual United Nations of riders who buzz through London's touristed streets.
