I am an international news journalist working for leading networks - including the BBC and Al Jazeera - in Europe, the Middle East and South East Asia for over a decade. I have a varied portfolio from reporting, producing and leading programmes. Myself and my cameraman are now filing stories from London and South East Asia. Currently, I'm a programme editor at Channel NewsAsia in Singapore. Prior to this, I was a news producer at Al Jazeera English in Qatar for over four years. I was part of the award-winning team covering the Arab Spring. During my career at the BBC, I was a TV producer for BBC Breakfast, a newsreader for Europe's most-listened to radio station BBC Radio 2. I was also a reporter for the popular youth station BBC Radio 1, and a writer for the award-winning Radio 4 1800 news bulletin. I have worked as a director for a TV documentary in New Zealand.
