About
Emmy-winning executive producer Russ McCarroll is CEO of Pocket Square Productions, the full-service prod co he founded. Specializing in documentary content, his most recent credit, The Devil’s Confession: The Lost Eichmann Tapes, was commissioned by MGM Studios and premiered on Amazon Prime. Prior to founding Pocket Square, he was SVP of development and production for Discovery, overseeing the New York and London offices. McCarroll also spent ten years at History where he was SVP of Programming and Development overseeing development, talent and production for the network. He developed and oversaw series including Alone, Men Who Built America, Mountain Men, The World Wars, Knightfall, Pawn Stars, Counting Cars, Top Gear, and Ax Men. McCarroll has also produced live sports, news, scripted, documentary and reality content for NBC, TNT, ESPN and many other outlets. His work was recognized with multiple Emmy's and awards from NAACP, Banff, NY Film Festival and Edward R Murrow Foundation.
