Hi Hi. My name is Dee and I am a Cinematographer/DoP based out of Austin, TX. In the past I have been a Gaffer, 1st AC, and 1 Person Crew, all of which built me up to where I am today. With an intimate understanding of lighting and camera, my goal is to bring harmony to each production and breathing life into the vision. Sharing the story of a city sponsored food project in Austin, TX, this production was a hybrid of commercial and documentary work. It was a quick day getting all the footage we needed, sending teams ahead to light the next scene. Overall very rewarding to learn of the work they are doing helping with food deserts in Austin, and very thankful to be apart of sharing their story.
Advertisement for National Instruments New Career program, targeting recently graduated undergraduate through PhD students. Video was show internally and at colleges, conferences, job fairs, etc. Shot on Red Gemini with Atlas Anamorphic lenses with a camera crew of 3. Used various Arri and Aputure lights as well as a 1/2 ton grip package with a lighting crew of 4.
Branded documentary for Whole Foods Market. This piece centers around Alexandre Family Farms, a regenerative dairy out of Northern California. This production was very RNG, being only myself, a producer, and a sound mixer. Made a lot of split second decisions to capture the right light through the two days.
