I’m currently a graduate student at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. I recently completed the News21 Investigative reporting project "Voting Wars." My stories were published by the Washington Post, The Center for Public Integrity, Stars and Stripes and in local markets such as Denver, Tulsa, Cleveland, and Greenbay. Before returning to school for my masters degree, I worked as an Associate Producer at Fox News Channel. I spent several years working with the channel’s White House Unit, traveling with the press pool and covering presidential events. I later went on to work for the Washington bureau’s weekend program “America’s News HQ”. I helped to book guests, write copy, produce interviews, and generate interesting news segments for our show.

In Dec. 2015, my graduate cohort completed an investigative report into Arizona's Education system. Graduate students wrote, shot, produced, animated, designed and coded this entire project. I'm so proud of what we accomplished. Please take a moment and check it out my story on how tutors in Arizona are helping students by supplementing the gaps in state curriculum.
