About Sonder

Sonder Visuals is an award winning Irish production company made up of filmmaking pair, Sarah Fitzgerald and Theo Jebb. Theo is a multi EMMY nominated wildlife cinematographer, he worked as a principle cameraman on several productions, including a National Geographic Wild series with Brainfarm cinema. He also worked as a slow-motion operator and specialist with Phantom slow-motion cameras across Europe, on high end Dramas such as 'Penny Dreadful', commercials and music videos. Sarah has a degree in psychology and is now an award winning cameraperson and editor. Together we specialise in emotive content for web and TV. Over the past year we have worked on an array of projects from commercials to 'IFTA' nominated wildlife productions. We own a GH4 set up with a DJI Ronin, a GoPr 4+ 360 VR rig, phantom 3 pro drone, microphones and an underwater housing.

    The second episode of our 'SONDER' series, it took 8 days of traveling, filming and interviewing to capture this short film. This film won the 'Travel' category in this years 'Drone up International Film Festival' in Bulgaria.

  • Behind the scenes on Yellowstone Wild

    Theo worked for 7 months as a principle cameraman on this two part National Geographic documentary in Yellowstone national Park. This short behind the scenes video shows him operating a car mounted camera while filming the Bison Rut. This series is up for an EMMY nomination for cinematography in this years, 2016 awards.

Click the "Start A Project" button to complete a Creative Project brief. Fill in all the project details to create your account on Storyhunter. Once your Creative Brief is approved, Sonder will receive an email notification. We will also notify other relevant freelancers about this project to ensure you have several options to choose from.

  1. Look for work samples that support the service you are looking to hire for. Creators feature their best and most recent work samples towards the top of their profiles.
  2. Check out the creator's bio to better understand who they are and what makes them unique. What stories are they most passionate about? What work are they most proud of? Do these experiences align with what you're looking for?
  3. If your project requires specific equipment, be sure to check the creator's equipment list to see if they carry the relevant gear.
