About

I am an illustrator, educator, and storyteller based in Carbondale, Colorado. You'll most likely find me teaching an art class, creating art to sell locally and nationally, illustrating for businesses, or writing and illustrating my own stories. I am deeply moved by art and its potential to connect with adults and children. I am also interested in the intersections between art, humans, and the natural world around us. I have experience in designing for contract work, in addition to leading a project through the printing and distribution process. As an educator, I am passionate about creating inclusive stories and spaces - I continue to engage with this process when designing courses for adults. I also have experience managing more complex projects and timelines as an educator and in my own art business. As a writer, I am continually writing children's book stories and I have experience bringing them through the storyboard process.
