About
Hello. I'm a filmmaker based in Edinburgh, Scotland. I currently work part-time for National Museums Scotland as a videographer and freelance the rest of the time. I've got experience making short films for the National Library of Scotland, British Council and Festivals Edinburgh. I also love working in music and have filmed several music videos for Scottish acts such as Meursault, Siobhan Wilson, Modern Studies and local label Song, by Toad. I have my own kit (A7S II) and editing suite as well as a clean driving licence. I'm very interested in pursuing more factual documentaries and working in projects of a journalistic nature. One of my favourite documentaries is Hoop Dreams. And anything by Werner Herzog.

National Library of Scotland - Henrietta Liston: Approaching Constantinople
This was a project I took on as the sole filmmaker so I produced it, shot it and edit it with help from the library's curator in charge. The shoot took us to Istanbul where most of the filming took place. It's a historical piece that comments on the role of women in a heavily diplomatic environment in an era where that was practically an impossibility.

Sounding - Modern Studies and Lomond Campbell
In August 2017, Modern Studies and Lomond Campbell hosted SOUNDING at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Both acts played in Stockbridge Parish Church over three nights, accompanied by the Pumpkinseeds Chamber Orchestra. Gigwise -- Gigwise at Eurosonic Noorderslag
I was commissioned to work alongside online music publication Gigwise, to document the grittier side of the largest music industry showcase in Europe, Eurosonic Noorderslag in Groningen, Holland. I shot and edited this collaborating with Gigwise's journalist Cai Trefor.
