I am a self shooting producer and director based out of Sabah, Malaysia and Boise, Idaho. After completing a double major in communications and Chinese environmental history, I traveled to Thailand then China where I worked as a scuba diving instructor and underwater videographer. It was here that my passion for the ocean and wildlife merged with my need to share important but also fun stories. I started working with the award winning production company Scubazoo Images. Here I began producing and directing many of their in house projects and corporate films. During this time I also worked on broadcast films as a researcher, fixer, producer and director. I have worked on projects for Smithsonian, BBC, Love Nature, Discovery Channel, National Geographic, CCTV, Beijing TV, and many others. I am a hard working and dedicated producer and director that is continuously searching for new ideas and ways to tell meaningful stories to the world.
This is the promotional film for the Splash Foundation which is Hong Kong’s only charitable organization that promotes safety, empowerment and connection through swimming. Created on the premise that there should be no socio-economic barriers in learning how to swim, Splash is a simple concept connecting people who know how to swim with those who don’t.
On 11 November 2017, Simon Holliday set a new world record for swimming 45km around Hong Kong island unassisted and without stopping. Simon completed the swim in 12hrs 34 minutes, breaking the record set by Australian Olympic swimmer, Linda McGill in 1976. This is the film about his swim.

This is the story of professional Chinese surfer Darci Liu's journey into scuba diving and her motivation for wanting to help protect the oceans. This film was done for PADI in 2017.
These films were to help spread awareness about some of the issues facing wildlife in Malaysian Borneo. I filmed and directed 3 videos in multiple languages for Danau Girang Field Centre in Malaysia and the US Embassy in Malaysia.
