About

Rupert is a British filmmaker, editor and founder of video production company storyfrontier. He previously worked in advertising for 5 years in London and Copenhagen, before making Malaysia home 3 years ago. Rupert has a particular interest in factual, documentary work especially within environmental and social contexts. He has worked internationally with NGOs, governments and brands to bring out powerful and emotive stories. Along with visuals, he is also a music producer with a deep appreciation for using sound to increase emotional engagement. The Storyfrontier team includes a producer, copywriter, animator, graphic design and illustrator, editor for Malay and English and gaffer. Storyfrontier build a team from the ground up around each project. From a single corporate interview to a highly complex project involving end-end video production and concept development. We work directly with global brands like Facebook, Air Asia, Maxis, as well as Public/ Non-Profit sector like Ministry of Finance, University Malaya, The UN. We can travel anywhere in Asia and recently shot for Air Asia in Hawaii.
