Producer/Production Manager-Coordinator/Outreach Director Ms. Coblyn has worked in film and video production in the DC area since 1989. In that time she has worked as a producer for corporate & industrial clients, social documentaries for NGO(s) and not-for-profit(s), and theatrical-style films for US government agencies. Working with local production companies Ms. Coblyn was also on the forefront of the use of dramatic recreations in historical documentaries working as Associate Producer, Production Manager and Coordinator on the PBS documentaries Prince Among Slaves and Partners of the Heart. Ms. Coblyn has transitioned this talent to theatrical style short films for several US government agencies such as the FBI and CIA as well as a compliment of other government national security agencies and private companies and organizations. Ms. Coblyn is well established in the film and video industry in the DC/Baltimore areas and has worked with many of the local professionals in all aspects of production, and maintains connections and a large database of crew and talent to draw on. She has acted as location scout and manager on dozens of projects and has an intimate knowledge and connections around the community from which to draw on for locations. In addition Ms. Coblyn has worked as Outreach and Distribution Director for documentary productions worldwide. In this capacity Ms. Coblyn has designed and implemented strategic planning, day-to-day campaign management & coordination for national and international film/video distribution initiatives.
