Crafted in Culiacan, Sinaloa, the first Mexican Sake that combines Japanese traditional craft with Mexican heart. We interviewed super star chef Lalo Palazuelos who created a three course menu specifically flavoured around the Sake's exquisite taste. How could an indigenous peasants army declare war on the government of Mexico? On January first, 1994, the EZLN led by Subcomandante Marcos, started the war against Mexico by occupying 4 towns in Chiapas, including the touristic town of San Cristóbal de las Casas. Their demands included the abolishment of NAFTA, the North American Free Trade Agreement. Mexican President Carlos Salinas de Gortari reacted with extreme force and after 11 days of violence where more than 300 died, the Mexican Government and the indigenous rebels began negotiations and ceased fire. This is a story about the Zapatista uprising for indigenous independence, told by anthropologist and journalist Gaspar Morquecho who covered the events.

Can life in the United States exist in a different way? How much do we need, and how much is enough? This is a small study of humans in rural American land who decide to take life in a different direction. I was invited to stay in The Garden for two weeks during their Collect the Collective event. When off-grid permaculture community The Garden went viral on TikTok all hell broke lose. Besides good people it also attracted the worst of the worst, yet I was keen to find out more about the situation myself. I travelled to Lafayette, Tennessee to meet with, portray and interview the people that are part of The Garden and its bigger permaculture network. On location I got an inside view of how The Garden sustains itself, how the egalitarian community operates. I got to meet the people who made their home on these lands and the new faces that flock to The Garden to connect with others who have similar ideas of living their life outside of mainstream society. I'm in Guatemala to meet Red Bulls Pedrano, a local football club named after an energy drinks brand who participate in a local San Pedro cup. Around Lake Atitlan local Guatemalan football clubs compete in San Pedro's Bella Vista Stadium for the local San Pedro amateur cup. The Red Bull Pedrano team caught my attention so I went to investigate the reasons for their fondness of this Energy Drink company.
Officially selected for Mexican Cannes vertical short film competition shortlist hosted by Nespresso Talents. A short documentary about María García del Sol Ortegón, the first female heart surgeon in all of Latin America to perform a successful heart transplant.
