Ananthakrishnan worked as a cinematographer for Tehelka magazine in New Delhi. He recently finished the Doc Nomads Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Documentary Filmmaking delivered by a consortium of European universities, and he is now working as DOP and Ronin operator in Brussels. He is at the same time active in authoring and filming documentary projects in Portugal, Hungary, Italy and India.

Short documentary settled Hungary, I photographed around more than 6 days with the Taiwanese director Holo wang, who started encountering a gay couple in the outskirts of Budapest and their private farm, particularly their relationship with ducks and ecosystem.
This science-fiction short is inspired by the great sci-fi writers like Stanislaw Lem and Philip K. Dick. Set in the far future, This project I entirely photographed within the Sint-Lukas film school studio, Belgium. Working relationship with dutch filmmaker Jacob Boorsma was a learning experience.
