International film maker based in London. I research, report, shoot and edit all my own material as a one-man-band. For the past 7 years I have worked extensively as a Senior Video Journalist for the BBC in the US and UK and then for the South China Morning Post in Hong Kong. I film with a vareity of cine cams an my own personal netflix approved Panasonic S1-H. Can do lighting, flying of drones and more etc. Available any time you need me for anything from short form to long form video, from documentary to journalism to commercial work. From 1950 to 1997 it’s estimated that as many as 2 million people fled from the Chinese mainland to Hong Kong. Many in search of better economic prospects and some to escape Chinese communist rule. The world called them “freedom swimmers”. The South China Morning Post met an old freedom swimmer and a former member of the Hong Kong Marine Police whose job it was to catch them. Together they paint a picture of desperate escape under trying circumstances.

A behind the scenes look at one of New York's most prestigious bow makers workshops. Salchow & Sons is the largest bow making shop in the world and has made bows for some of the world's most famous musicians.
