Kori Feener is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and journalist who believes in the power of storytelling. Feener’s documentary work has been screened in festivals, and at events and universities across the United States. She is currently working on a long-term feature documentary entitled Bea with Emmy award-winning cinematographer Allen Moore. Bea is a coming of age tale about a young girl with a genetic condition so rare, no one else in the world has it. She is a board member of the Non-Fiction Cartel, a collaborative focused on short form storytelling and has worked for award winning documentary filmmakers: Ross McElwee, Amy Ziering, Kirby Dick and Julie Gustafson.

Kori did a great job. Was reliable, stayed in touch with us, and did a great job on the shoot. She has a great eye visually and her techincal skills are excellent. Whe also did a great job asking follow up questions duinrg out interview, so she's great at shooting interviews. Overall very satisfied!

Kori was amazing to work with, she was creative in finding ways to enhance the story by incorporating previous work and was flexible enough to find another subject that fit the project when the first subject fell through. We would definitely hire Kori again on future projects.

Kori brought an undertold story story to our attention and secured access to a the characters. She knew that its better to ask and over communicate to make sure instructions are clear and deliverables met on deadline.
