I have experience as a blogger and education coordinator. My prior experience includes work in a diverse array of fields, including humanitarian assistance and human rights-based organizations, the cannabis industry, and education. Through my writing, teaching, and administrative work, I seek to help inform others about the social and political issues that drive me.
This piece is one of a series of blog posts that I wrote for the Bloom Well Cannabis Apothecary, a cannabis dispensary located in Bend, Oregon. In this post, I explore how the appointment of Jeff Sessions as the U.S. Attorney General has affected federal drug-related policing and efforts to legalize cannabis consumption on a state level.
While in college, I worked for as the Education Coordinator for a national student group dedicated to anti-mass atrocity activism, STAND. We conducted advocacy campaigns over the course of a semester. I wrote this educational page for our fall 2014 campaign to raise awareness of the conflict and famine in South Sudan.
