I'm a photojournalist and Documentary photographer from Venezuela, based in New York City. Graduated from Audio Visual arts at the Universidad Catolica Andres Bello, and from the Documentary and Visual Journalism program at the International Center of Photography. My documentary work focuses mostly on migration and cultural expressions. My goal is to empower communities through their stories of resilience and collaborating with the protagonists on the telling of their own story. This work has been published in several outlets such as The New York Times, Remezcla Magazine, Vainity Fair Italy and Topic Magazine. I also cover events as both photographer or videographer, working for clients like All Star Code, NYCFC, Colt Coeur, Alagua Cinema and Alstom.
This article is about a group of Venezuelans that still connected to their country even after they chose to emigrate. Through politics and art they get involved with the community to do what's in their hands to fight for a better Venezuela

This project told the story of a group of American teenagers born to Mexican parents that go to a Mariachi school. The project portrayed the cultural aspects of both countries and how the teens navigate between both.
