Andres Arenas (Bogota, Colombia 1982) lives and works in Bogota. He studied photography at the Academia Francesa de la Imagen in Bogota and the Seminario de Fotografía Contemporánea at the Centro de la Imagen in Mexico City. Among his most outstanding works are the books ¨Barichara: Saberes y Sabores¨ and ¨Iglesias Casco Antiguo Ciudad de Panamᨠby Letrarte Editores. His most recent assignments include clients such as the Internet Society Foundation and Sole Colombia.

As part of the program WEAVING LIVES AND HOPE from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). I teamed up with Fundación Sole Colombia working as a photographer and videographer to make visible the mental health, coexistence, economic empowerment, and communication for peace initiatives developed with survivors of the conflict in Colombia.
