Sarah is a filmmaker and photographer, currently based in Brooklyn by way of Chicago, Los Angeles and London. She specializes in documentary production but has experience producing, directing, shooting and editing content that spans a range of genres and formats - and working in international, remote and wilderness settings. To quote a very kind mentor, “she is tenacious and undaunted by all challenges.” Sarah is interested in delving into the complex relationships that exist between humans and their environment, and seeks out projects that employ honest storytelling to explore the ethos of people and places. She aims to produce work that can engage, inform and resonate with diverse audiences. Sarah holds a BA in Film and Television Production from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, and an MA in Documentary Film from University of the Arts London. The other tale of two cities - both plagued by decades of lack of investment and racial discrimination in their wastewater infrastructure - told by community members, advocates, utility operators, and elected officials. As the nation grapples with how to fund long overdue infrastructure needs, this film brings to light the need for urgency and equity in these decisions.
