Film maker and animator who has worked in broadcast, film, events, gigs, fine art, education and advertising. ~20 years in the trade and still love finding new challenges. I love to travel with work as much as turn stuff over in the studio and am familiar and happy in any environment.
This piece was the first in a series of 4 films examining the thoughts, feelings, hopes and fears about 'The Future' of the general community as well as experts and industry was created and produced by Shroom at our studio in London for Channel 4's 'Four Minute wonder' slot. The animated documentary series was co-conceived and directed / produced by our three strong management team.
Working directly with lead academic Clare Lee, of the Open University, in collaboration with Hamlett Films, I designed, directed and animated a set of three films to be used to help undergraduate students in the faculty with the subject of 'Educational Models'. The link provided is the third film which details the 'Capabilities Model'. The others concerned the 'Human Capital' and 'Rights' models.
Working with the team at Treatment / Third Company I co-created this sequence and others for the Rolling Stones 50th Anniversary tour that kicked off at the O2 arena in London. We worked with 3d, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects to create the work both in the studio and in rehearsals in Wembley arena. The piece linked here was a direct response to the band's single 'Doom and Gloom'.
Working with producer Niall Thompson of Dandelion and Burdock's LA office, I created a set of 3d and 2d motion graphics sequences for an end of season event at the team's headquarters in the UK. We coordinated the intercontinental production through a combination of slack and good old fashioned email.
