Thousands of young women and girls are leaving rural villages in Myanmar in search of work abroad. Though some manage to earn a good living as domestic workers, many fall prey to traffickers who trap them in a cycle of debt bondage.
Forced into sexual slavery by the so-called Islamic State, many Yazidi women now emerging from the ruins of the Caliphate have had children with their IS captors. These children are rejected by the Yazidi community; their mothers are made to abandon them should they want to return home. Reporter Nafiseh Kohnavard and director Katie Arnold traveled to Iraq and Syria to hear from the women forced to choose between their children and their community.

In 2015 USA received more refugees from Myanmar than any other country & a growing proportion of Myanmar refugees are Rohingya. Since 2012, 120,000 Rohingya have lived in IDP camps where young people have little access to jobs or education. With NLD failing to change conditions for young Rohingya, many are planning to flee Myanmar and are learning English in the hope that they will get to USA.

Last year, rough sleeping in the UK grew by 30%. The crisis is particularly acute in London where over 7000 people are forced to sleep rough each year. In an effort to boost their morale, barber Josh Coombes is giving free haircuts to the homeless and is starting a social media initiative called #DoSomethingForNothing which calls on people around the world to also reach out to those in need.
