I come with 8+ years of experience creating content for both stage and screen. I work as a Writer, Performer and Producer but at my core I’m a storyteller. I specialize in show/movie structure and the comedy genre. I began staging stories when I was 8 years old and haven’t stopped since. Writing is what I've been doing the longest. I am most proficient in structure and story theory. I've held key roles as a creative developer, head writer, staff writer, and story supervisor. I started in stand-up comedy, and my style was witty/quirky. I was a natural at crowd work and thinking on my feet. My love for comedy and writing drove me to sketch comedy, creating sketches that range from clever to silly to absurd. Later, I delved into improv theatre. I explored producing to understand what goes on behind the scenes. My expertise includes event planning/ vendor management as well as sales /marketing / show day execution. From cafes to auditoriums, I produced shows of many scales.
I handled the roles of producer and artist manager for comedian Aravind SA. His 1 hour show 'I Was Not Ready Da' was a hit, selling out 5 cities in 10 minutes at its peak. I took part in producing both national and international tours.
For 3 years I worked at this production house. I developed full fledged bibles for over 10 shows/features in my time there. I worked on projects of comedy, horror, thriller, superhero, period, romance, sci-fi genres. I am most proficient in structure and story theory. I've held key roles such as; Head Writer, Staff Writer, Story Supervisor.
This slice of life short film was a passion project of mine. It is a cute conversation between two strangers in a cafe, across tables, with no dialogue.
