I wrote, reported and photographed this article on the impact of the early days of the covid-19 pandemic on long-term HIV survivors living in and around Palm Springs, California. The article was published as part of The New York Times' California Today newsletter.
I co-wrote and reported this story for PBS Frontline which accompanied the episode "Covid's Hidden Toll." The story digs into a study which found that in the first months of the covid-19 pandemic, farmworkers were among those most vulnerable to infection.
Co-wrote and reported this investigation about how OSHA's lack of covid-19 specific safety regulations left workers at California meatpacking and agricultural facilities unprotected in unsafe working conditions.
As senior video producer for Washington Post Live, I managed the production of the videos for WPL's 2023 Global Women's Summit, coordinating between editorial and design to create a new format of intro videos. I also edited half of the videos and produced the sizzle reel displayed on the summit landing page: https://www.washingtonpost.com/washington-post-live/washington-post-live-global-womens-summit/
"The One Problem With Solar" explores the impact of solar field development on rural residential communities in southern California and the Mojave desert.
