I am a freelance cameraman, journalist, VJ and film maker based in the UK. I have self shot numerous films and reports from across the world, having worked and lived in Kenya and Thailand for many years. I have a wealth of experience producing films on a wide variety of subjects, from the illegal wildlife trade in Myanmar (AJ+) to corruption in the fight against malaria in Papua New Guinea. My films have been broadcast across the world. My recent projects include an episode of Made in Dadaab which will soon be broadcast on Netflix, a series on the dangers of not being vaccinated shot in Sierra Leone and Congo for Not Impossible Labs and PBS, to a film on snow leopards using remote cameras in the mountains of Mongolia for the BBC. I am very comfortable working on my own or part of a team, and I believe my camera work is of a very high standard. From May 2013 to January 2015 I was the South East Asia Video Journalist for Agence France Presse. During this time I travelled extensively to major stories across the world, including the war in Gaza, the conflict in Eastern Ukraine, as well as to the World Cup in Brazil. Before moving to Bangkok I lived and worked as a freelance VJ in East Africa for three years. I covered the biggest news stories across Africa during that time, for a wide variety of clients including AFP, Reuters, Sky News, Channel 4 news, CBC and France 24. I also made documentaries for numerous NGOs, as well as shooting TV commercials for Action Aid in Haiti, Myanmar and Afghanistan. Prior to my move to Africa, I was a producer/director at ITN. I started my career as a presenter, and at one point even had my own football show in Norway. I am available for work anywhere in the world, both for long and short term assignments.
