Josh McLawhorn is a DP, editor, director, and the owner of Level Up Digital Media, a video production company in Florida that produces documentaries, commercials, PSA campaigns, and branded content. Josh's work as a cinematographer and editor has earned eight Emmy Awards from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Suncoast Chapter, as well as a Judge's Choice Award and many Gold Addy Awards from the American Advertising Federation. His short film "Almost Ready" won first place in Nikon's international short film contest. Josh has a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Florida and has bicycled across the continental United States twice. He loves to learn through documentary filmmaking and wants to make films that change the world for the better.

Journey Home is a 30-minute documentary that aired on TV stations throughout Florida. Hurricane Michael destroyed many coastal areas of the Florida Panhandle, including the Gulf Coast Child Advocacy Center. Journey Home is the story of how this important place of healing was rejuvenated by a strong community of survivors of child sexual abuse and their allies.

He later went on to create one of the most iconic international auto races in the world, attracting the most famous drivers and teams in auto racing history.
