Sarah Ginsburg grew up in the magical Midwest town of Columbia, Missouri. She went on to study Film Production at Emerson College in Boston, which is where she lives and works as a filmmaker today. She edited for the award-winning interactive Hollow and shot and edited for Boston-based interactive Wander, Wonder, Wilderness. Sarah recently finished shooting and editing a feature documentary titled Best and Most Beautiful Things. She wandered into the audio world and started a podcast with Elaine Sheldon that features women working in media. The podcast is called She Does and is now part of Panoply, Slate's podcasting network. Sarah is fascinated by the overlooked and challenges herself to illuminate even the tiniest ingredients that make up our everyday.

Hollow is an interactive, participatory documentary that explores post-industrial small-town America through the voices and ideas of people living in McDowell County, W.Va. Alan Johnston is a bluegrass musician and photographer who has spent his whole life in McDowell County, West Virginia. He discusses the changes he has seen over the years and explains why he stays in the area.
