ARC2020 -- Room for Agroecology in ‘Climate Smart’ future?
The planet is currently on a path to a global mean temperature rise in the range 1.5 to 4.5°C by the end of the century, with the higher end of this range potentially pushing agriculture – and normal life itself – far beyond manageable thresholds. If we are really going to reduce the carbon footprint of our food production, we need to understand all options that exist in land use management.
