Jean du Toit is a Port Elizabeth based director/DOP and editor. With a history in both psychology, social work, music and various creative projects, Jean combines his love of film and editing into a holistic practice of not only visual media but an integrative activity of story telling. He finds that in combining his fields of interest and expertise he has come to specialize in creating emotive, sincere and visually appealing compositions in his work. With projects ranging from broadcast, corporate, music videos, extreme sports and NGO based initiatives, Jean sees visual media as a powerful tool to convey meaningful messages and to engage with audiences in a way finding the heart of a story and conveying it in a relevant way to appropriate audiences
