In a remote village of Serbia suddenly a French family moved in. They believe they found their promised land for growing grapes and making wine. But they met only old people, with old habits and distrust. Thirty years later, not only is Serbia still not part of the European Union, but it is not certain that it even wants to be. Society in Serbia still has no answers to the questions that plagued it back in 1989: Kosovo, relations with neighbors, the EU perspective, the state of democracy. Through conversations with the generation and the daughter growing up in Brussels, the film calls for introspection and re-examination of the turbulent history of the last thirty years.
