About

Award-winning documentary photographer Mélanie Wenger is a documentary photographer and a founding member of the Inland Cooperative. She works with multiple EU institutions, the private sector and the French and international press, she is a contributor to National Geographic, Le Figaro Magazine. Stern, Geo... She started her career in Libya, at the end of the revolution, on the series "Wasted Young Libya". Between 2014 and 2017, she directed a documentary series on loneliness and old age in the intimacy of ' Marie-Claude ', she was the 2017 winner of the HSBC Prize for Photography and published a monograph of the same title with Actes Sud. Since 2015, she has been questioning the relationship between humans and animals and telling the schizophrenic story of conservation. Her work has been exhibited all over the world, notably at the Festival Visa pour l'image 2021 and the Festival de La Gacilly 2022. 12 years of corporate experience As a team leader and photographer in the European Parliament's photo service for 6 years, Mélanie Wenger developed her knowledge of production, team management, studio and event photography within the European institutions. She also worked with external clients for 12 years such as the Representation of Hesse to the Institutions, the Yves Rocher Foundation, the National Geographic Society and Médecins Sans Frontières.
