The ad was the idea of producer Kamel Jaber, and it was designed to run on all Middle East Airline flights in 2018. The animation was done by Lebanon's premiere post-production/animation company - The Council. Directed and co-produced by Jackson Allers. One of 6 film portraits shot/co-produced for Art Dubai. Represented by Gallery Isabelle van den Eynde, Raed Yassin lives and works in Beirut. A graduate from the Theatre Department of the Institute of Fine Arts in Beirut, Yassin is an artist and musician, with his work often originating from an examination of his personal narratives and their position within a collective history, through the lens of consumer culture and mass production. About Jackson
Filmmaker, podcast producer, and radio broadcaster, Jackson has spent the better part of 25 years documenting independent arts, culture and political movements wherever he's been based. For the last 15-plus years his base was Beirut, Lebanon where Jackson directed, shot, and produced numerous documentaries, documentary segments, and branded documentaries in the Middle East, North Africa, the Mediterranean Basin, and parts of Asia.
