Rhys is an Meanjin (Brisbane), Australia based Director of Photography. Before being engrossed in film & video, Rhys came from a music & music production skill set. Drawn to more visual aspects incorporated in music performance, Rhys moved from researching & developing live generative visuals for music performances, to filming music videos over a number of years, before being fully enraptured by filming narrative productions. Focusing on narrative structures & storytelling, Rhys, has a passion to help capture the visions of local & independent storytellers. As well as, remaining behind the camera rather than in front of it.
